Reflecting on 2015 from Jill Rawlins

Jill Rawlins2015……What a year!!! First I want to say thank you to everyone who has made this one of the best years of my Assisted Living career. Chesterbrook Residences is such a special place and I feel blessed every day that I get to come and spend with the residents, team members, family members and guests. Chesterbrook is truly a family.

The team has worked exceptionally hard through the year to create a calendar of outings and events that appeal to everyone. Some highlighted outings and events from the year include: Mother’s Day Tea, Wednesday cook outs in the courtyard, Kennedy Center concerts, dancing with Garry, Current Events with Kent, Crosswords with Larry, Respecting your Elders Harley ride, LUAU, Annual Gala and the Be Thankful Thanksgiving lunch, just to mention a few as the list is long. Other wonderful services have added this year that we hope you all are taking advantage of as well. Massage Therapy, Audiologist, and Dermatologist, now are coming on a regular basis.

We would like to also say thank you to everyone for your patience during all the construction through the summer during the renovation of the dining room, nurse’s station and the addition of Aden’s new office. Everything has turned out beautiful.

Lastly there is still a few weeks left in the remainder of the year and there are still several activities, outings and events that are planned to round out the year that we hope you all take part in. Ice Show at the Gaylord, decorating the community for the holidays, Resident and Family Holiday Cocktail party, outings to look at the Christmas lights around town…Thank you for an amazing 2015 and cheers to the coming year!!!!
