Attention everyone! Chesterbrook Residences has been selected to be one of the projects for “Discovery Day”. So what is “Discovery Day”? On June 20, 2014 Discovery Channel will be coming out to volunteer at Chesterbrook for the day. The Discovery Channel’s home office is located in Maryland and they give back to the community in a big way. They will be sending a group of 50 volunteers to come out and be a part of our family for the day. They will be coming at 9am and staying until approximately 3pm on Friday June 20th. We are putting together some exciting projects for them to assist us with. We are going to have a “Happy Hour” with the residents, we will be putting together a BBQ for all of the volunteers, residents, and staff to enjoy that day, we will be having various inter-generational activities for all to enjoy as well.
