THE NEW CHESTERBROOK RESIDENCES’ VAN

THANKS TO THE COMMUNITY THE NEW CHESTERBROOK RESIDENCES’ VAN IS ON THE ROAD!

(February 13, 2008) – McLEAN/FALLS CHURCH) –

New van for Chesterbrook ResidencesThe long-awaited Chesterbrook Residences van has arrived with Activities Director Agnes Anderson’s first official trip being to take residents to vote in Virginia’s Primary Election!

Northern Virginia’s newest Assisted Living Residence, Chesterbrook Residences, is a vibrant community of active seniors who have been looking forward to the van going on shopping adventures, to appointments, concerts and more!

The van was financed through community contributions from the McLean Rotary Club, the Tysons Corner Rotary Club, the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce with the McLean Orchestra, and individual gifts. Chesterbrook Residences was the designated recipient of the proceeds from the 2007 McLean Benefit Golf Classic hosted by the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce and the McLean Symphony. These proceeds combined with the other gifts made acquisition of the van possible.

The new van is fully handicapped accessible with special ramps for transporting residents using wheelchairs.
