United States Census 2010
The U.S. Census Bureau is required by the U.S. Constitution to take an official count of people living in the United States every 10 years. This count not only determines the number of seats in the United States House of Representatives to which each state is entitled, but also the distribution of state and federal funds for highways and schools. Census data show the demographic make-up of your community, state, and the nation. It dictates where to build schools, form election districts, and locate energy sources such as gas and electricity.
The 2010 Census activities are now underway. Census Bureau employees across the country are updating census Address lists and maps to distribute Census forms efficiently and save taxpayers’ money.
Chesterbrook Residences is proud to be open its door to the U.S. Census Bureau for testing. Testing will take place the following dates in the Multi-Purpose Room, located on the Terrace Level.
