News and announcements for Chesterbrook Residences. Chesterbrook Residences is a mixed-income community offering affordable assisted living services in a home-like setting to adults age 62 and older. Nestled within a beautiful forested setting in the McLean/Falls Church area of Northern Virginia, Chesterbrook Residences provides three meals daily in its gracious dining room, weekly housekeeping and assistance with daily activities and medication management, plus a full activities program. Fairfax County Public Schools has partnered this spring with Chesterbrook Residences in McLean to provide special education students attending the Fairfax County Davis Center with a worksite and apartment space to practice life skills.  This is the first time that the school has actually had a donated apartment space provided to practice.  The experiment has gone very well.  Chesterbrook is welcoming the students back with open arms for the 2009/10 school year.

Nice weather, antique cars, a live band and BBQ food-what could make a Saturday in June any better?

Well, a moon bounce adds to the fun for the little ones...The children enjoyed festivities in the courtyard, making surprise appearances after having faces painted...and you're never too old for cotton candy!

There were 16 cars in the show, all car owners received a dash plaque. Residents voted for their top 3 favorite cars, awarding 1st, 2nd and 3rd places to three lucky owners.
