Why Chesterbrook Residences?
Three faith communities in the Falls Church/McLean, Virginia area (Lewinsville Presbyterian Church, Immanuel Presbyterian Church, and Temple Rodef Shalom) founded Chesterbrook Residences. Our core values support aging with dignity by honoring our residents with a home-like setting for the services and care they need.
Chesterbrook Residences is a nonsectarian, 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit residence that offers both affordable housing based on a sliding income scale and high quality care. Should a resident’s income no longer cover the costs of care, that resident is eligible to receive support from the Chesterbrook Continuing Care Fund so that he/she can remain at Chesterbrook.
Chesterbrook’s mission to serve the interests of its residents first sets it apart from traditional assisted living facilities. This commitment and our personalized, high quality care are the hallmarks of our community. Chesterbrook also has a dynamic volunteer program that whether for bridge games or current event discussions enriches the lives of our residents.
Picture scenic views and a convenient location, complete with a variety of floor plans, luxurious amenities, including chef-prepared meals, and a wide range of services. Add to that a rewarding, vibrant, and active lifestyle which enables our residents to share stories, enjoy a toast, or partake in everything from shopping trips or exercise to music, art, or reading while relaxing by the fireplace. Our new mini-bus, “Chester,” is used for outings for shopping, errands, or cultural events. We offer a range of lifestyle and entertainment options so that our residents have the best of all worlds.
